As far back as I can remember, I have loved a good story...from The Boxcar Children, to Gone with the Wind. Besides the cheap entertainment it provided, it was always good to know there were families out there (fictional or not) just as dysfunctional as my own :)
I was an avid reader, but writing came later. Around junior high or high school. You know that time of life when you have the need to express all that teenage angst in poetry and lyrics? But it wasn't until the past several years that I did more than dabble in writing. And even now, I am just getting my feet wet.
I was fresh out of high-school when I met and married my husband, Ron. Together we have raised and educated five awesome children, started a business, sold it, started another one, sold that, flipped some houses, and now that the children are grown, grandchildren have invaded our planet. Presently five of them, with another one preparing to make its grand entrance.
Life is brief and rarely sweet, but there are precious moments. We need to savor those and be thankful. May God richly bless you, and may you see his hand in your life, and his love for your soul.
